What we collect and why
Last updated 8 October 2026. Short version: your email address, what you open and click, nothing else, and you can delete it any time.
Who is responsible

| Signup date, source and IP address | Proof of consent and spam prevention | Same as above |
| Opens and link clicks | To stop mailing addresses that never open, and to see which topics readers find useful | 12 months |
| Preference choices | To send only what you chose | Until changed |
Legal basis
Consent, given when you subscribe. You withdraw it by unsubscribing. Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion or restriction by emailing updates@ukcasono.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Who we share with
Our email sending platform (Brevo, EU-hosted), which processes addresses on our instructions, and no one else. Nobody we write about receives your email address from us. When you follow a link, the site you land on sees that you came from ukcasono.com, not who you are.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies. Links in our emails carry a reference code so we know which link was clicked; it is not tied to a profile beyond your subscriber record.
